Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in connection with numerous theft and fraudulent use of credit card investigations.

On March 24, an unidentified man used a stolen credit card at several retail establishments in the Hilo and Puna districts. He is described as local, possibly Caucasian-Portuguese, about 5-foot-9, 165 pounds with a slim build and fair complexion.
Anyone with information on his identity or location is asked to call the police non-emergency line at 935-3311. Those who prefer anonymity may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
